Mike,
You answered my questions about the stealth plate from high tech speed a few weeks ago. After I talked you I placed an order for the stealth plate on January 13. I'm not sure if you work for the company or not buy I sent them a few emails about the status of my order and has no response back. They had no phone # listed on their site and I lost your email. I paid for the fed ex two day shipping but still no package. Thanks for taking your time and answering my questions before.

Hi Brian,

I am a partner in the company. I'm sorry you didn't get a response... we've been on the road quite a bit going to shows and the like, so we've been extremely under-staffed in the office the last couple of weeks. That's my fault for not managing that part of things better. We're also trying to get away from retail and do reseller/distributor sales, so it's been kind of crazy the past couple of weeks trying to do the shows, get the parts we need in, and get the orders out.

I haven't charged any orders we've gotten this year yet... I am planning to get all of the plates out this week come hell or high water. I have a few people who we charged from last year who are still waiting on theirs also. All should go out this week however.

I'll make sure you get the 10% Viper discount as well as the price we discussed. I'll pick up the tab on shipping too - same as I'll do for the other Viper folks that are still waiting.

I'm sorry for the delay... we're getting out of retail and going to a distributor deal, since it's just been too time consuming trying to develop, manufacture, sell and support all the products and I dunno how many more 18+ hour days I can stand

Thanks Brian,

It is my personal self-inflicted policy to refrain from posting to this board because I disagree with its policies. However I will be there to stick up for a freind. Someone brought this thread to my attention so I thought I would make my VERY occasional response. I have been involved with the viper community for quite some time and know Mike Brunton. Maybe a more appropriate method would be avoid posting negative public posts like this about a tuner unless you know they have wronged you. These types of posts have a way of damaging the reputation of tuners and suppliers. I know Mike, and his business ethics. If there has been any delay in a response to your questions, It may be because Mike is EXTREMELY busy and is the exception rather than the norm. Thats all for now. Ive gotta leave before I find myself wearing a windbreaker.

Thanks for your reply Mike.
Smokin, I never intended post anything negative about Mike. I just thought this was the next step in contacting him since I already tried to email hightech and I lost mikes email. Thats all.

I appreciate the kind words from friends and past customers - thanks guys.

However, in this case I am at fault. I didn't appoint someone to take care of incoming emails while I was away and I came back to find literally a couple hundred emails.

I do owe Brian (and Tony and Steve and Paolo) their plates and I'm gonna stay as late as I need to in order to get them out this week. We have had major supplier problems on the plate covers, and so we've been trying to rush and get stuff locally to get these finished and out the door. I am still waiting on some nice anodized mounting frames that we're going to be using on "stealth plate version 3" (those frames will be sent free to all the Viper folks - it's the least I can do after this delay).

Brian, I'll email you seperately... thanks for bringing this to my attention though and I'll make sure we do whatever is necessary to keep all you guys happy.

I thought along the same line as Tony and I expected to see Mike answer. He did, and I know that I can order from him w/o concern as to being ripped off.

Then again I see the glass as 1/2 full most of the time.

Mike,

Thanks for the convo the other week ( there's not too many guys that will talk vipers for an hour in the middle of an 18 hour day. but Mike does ).

Once I "burn in" the 4 plates I have on order, I'm quite sure I'll order some more for all my fleet vehicles as there is nothing worse than commercial vehicle insurance increases if the old employees get too many tickets!

regards

Steve
