I have been looking into this as well. So much so that I made my own. Eventually I will make it full motion as well. I have done the research I just haven't spent the money to do the full motion. I am going to use Iracing, rfactor and forza (xbox)

I went with the Fanatec system - Elite wheel and pedals, full Rennsport cockpit, Forza4/XBox. Almost set-up now...

Force Dynamics 401CR is prob one of the best motion simulators I've seen, and I've seen almost all of them, lol.

One of the key things is the actuators. You need very responsive linear actuators to replicate the bumps/effects in near-real time for it to be effective.
