I'm in the middle of flushing my radiator. As I went to open what I think is the draincock (a hex bolt on the driver's side of the bottom of the radiator) I noticed that it has a sealant of some sort around it. It's a dry foamy substance that flakes off easily if you touch it with your fingernail.
Is this the drainplug or should I leave it be? Whatever it is, it doesn't want to unscrew, and I'm afraid to force it too much.
