I just recieved my lightweight 1000hp rear axles from JonB @ partsrack.com

Slightly used at less than half price! Leaves me with a set of new/100mi. Dana axles, 1 original axle, set of 800hp Unitrax axles (1 slipsline needs replacing) and my 'new' set of lighweight axles. I've practically got a collection now.

An excellent safety upgrade is driveshaft loops. The stock trans. skid plate works for the main shaft but the rear axle shafts do need the D. loops because of wheel hop.

Thanks Jon. I'll try and get that done today.

Bottlefed, the 800hp Unitrax look just like the stock/original axle except they have the rubber boots over the slides instead of a plastic cap.

Higher quality materials though.

That looks like a weld failure. Any warranty?
