About a year ago, someone ripped my front emblem off the car. I found the emblem near the car on the ground and reattached it with some sort of super duper insanely strong glue that I found at a local parts place. Fast forward to yesterday and I noticed the emblem was really loose and actually pulled it off the car w/no effort at all. So, whats a good adhesive to use that may last more than a year? TIA!

3M molding tape works good also, if you can't find Dave's stuff. It can be gotten in the body section at autozone or advanced auto.

Sure. If you want to have the wrong badge on your car. Just go buy one and stick it on. Not complicated at all.

CHAD... I got it from McMaster Carr. Try a body shop or body shop supply house.

Too many bikini babes sitting on the hood??

More baseless allegations against me, and this time even from a fellow GA-VCA guy :omg: ;) Back to the subject at hand, here are some pics of Sneaky Pete in the happier days when he was still attached to the bumper :lmao:

Not Sneaky Pete's best photo, he was partially blocked by a large object in this pic :rolaugh:

That's nasty Chad.

Out of the 3, I was only the cameraman for the 1st one, so I can only be blamed for 1/3 of the nastiness :D

Back to the VHB Chad, lemme know if you want I can for a $0.43 stamp send you enough to fix 'er up. :2tu:

I've been looking online and not having any luck finding that stuff, so I'll take you up on the offer. I'll owe you a beer....you do drink beer, right? :D

Who's the chick in the middle pic?
You're not the 1st to ask me that. I can't remember her name, all I remember is she was from Arizona, was married and had 2 kids :omg::omg::omg: (not exactly sure I believe that, but thats what she said)

3M super weather strip adhesive. Make sure you buy 3M and not permatex. Comes in yellow and black. Very hard to clean up if you use too much. GTS Bruce

Guys use 3M double sided tape. Its what they use from the factory. I put them on all of the time after removing them for clear bra installations. Works like a champ...

Also, don't know if this is the norm but my fascia has a triangle notch dead center on the inside of the fascia. This is located above the rubber seal that the leading edge of the hood seals against. I would imagine this is standard and used to line up the emblem. The 96 manual lists 3.3 inches from the top of the fascia on center. I used the same 3M VHB/double sided tape mentioned after I had my fascia re sprayed.

Robert, please see the post I quoted ahead of yours. It is what we call a "helpful" post. Why don't you try 1 one day? :lmao:

:

First, I am not sure I am a helpful person when it comes to red cars. I would have to meditate on that one to find out. I will have to determine if I can still be one with myself if I am helping/supporting something that is red. ;)

Secondly, I WAS very helpful.:) I waited until you got all of your answers then threw the rock :hitwithrock: as you got the info you needed. :D It took all of the self control I had to wait that long.

I will shut up now as I see yellow is not the color of choice in this thread. :pbt:

Now returning to regularly scheduled red Viper issues....:lmao:

With all that babbling about nothing, I do believe the biggest surprise is you made a post with no misspellings :rolaugh: ;)

We don't want you to feel left out. You can start a thread titled "Tell me about your biggest racing loss in your Viper" and it should be 100% all about yellow Vipers :lmao:

I crack myself up :D
