I've been using it for about 7K miles with no problems. According to the literature it lowers engine/head temperature by removing more heat from the engine. Water temps should rise a little if anything. I haven't talked to anyone who actually measured head temps to see it it really works. I've seen no real difference in water temp since using this, either on the track or street driving. It certainly hasn't hurt my car any.

I know that people say it works, but my experience with it is that it did not make any difference on my Gen I and I have not tried it on my Gen II.
