Ref; Ordering Parts From Tator Dodge

Last week I talked to Chuck Tator about Storage Bags for my Soft top, side windows, and back window.

He took the order, so I asked him what I needed to do for payment.

He said -I do not take plastic. Just send me a check when you get the parts. He asked me if I was a member of the Viper club (YES). So he took off 20% ($62.00).

Well the bags showed up today.

Now wait a minute; I call from out of state, he has never met me or talked to me before. Takes an order from me. Extends me credit, ships the parts to my door. Pays for shipping and gives me 20% off.

What happened to screw the guy who bought the Viper?

Chuck, the check goes out first thing in the morning. I will call you next time I need something.

EXACT story !!
Not only that, but free shipping !
On top of that, he has personally taken up the crusade on my
behalf to get my right side sill cover replaced under
warranty even though my car recently celebrated it's 7th
birthday. He has called my local dealers "service" manager several times, and has now gone over his head and is stalking the Hawaii state D.M.
He is not doing this for the money, but he has earned ALL of my future OEM parts business. If more Chrysler dealers had Chuck's
pride and spirit in the product they sell, it would still be a
wholly owned and controlled American company !

Chuck's the MAN! I got you beat.

I had to bring my car to him last week for some work. I couldn't get there till late; about 6:00-6:30. He hung around after hours and when I got there, pulled his truck out of the way so I could get the premier garage spot. Did the work, had to order parts, did so, everything ready the same week. So I go to pick up the car, 8-8:30 at night and Chuck is there waiting for me.

What dealer goes through that extent to accomodate a customer? I also had to get my side sill replaced and he handled it when other dealers couldn't.

Hint: He likes Itallian food from Arthur Ave, Bronx; Mike's deli: (718) 295-5033 will ship anywhere.

I can go on for days about the ~ 2 years of knowing Chuck first by phone when looking for my Viper and then in person at his BBQ
2 years ago. It was that BBQ that had my wife say: "When you find the one you want just buy it!" Chuck AKA Viper Wizard also "Tatorized" my ACR.

Talk softly and carry a big TATOR !

He did it ! From 6,000 miles away Chuck was able to
get my local "service" rep to not only return my calls
but got them to agree to replace my right side sill cover !!
The car is past the 7 year warranty and I'm not the original
owner. Not only that, but the dealer asked me to check my
left cover for corrosion. I had never noticed before, but it's
starting to bubble. I told the dealer this, and he said they
would just go ahead and replace both of them !
I didn't even have to take the car in for an inspection !
I know for a fact that Chuck spent a LOT of time on the phone chasing down the the area rep as well as the local dealer
"service" manager instead of making money at his store.
Chuck, my hats off to you sir !!
