Replacing the Center Speakers on a GenI - What do you think?

I've been wanting to do this for some time now. The stock speakers have always looked cheap and I know it's mostly due to the covers. :smirk: I chose these Infinity Kappa speakers. Mostly due to the look and design.

What do you think?

It's only the grills but I wanted to see how they looked in the car without cutting anything yet. They match my MGW accessories very well

They have a very nice fit and finish to them. What do you think?

I plan on doing the doors as well.

Yes you do. I thought long and ******* how I wanted to do it. I decided to grind from the backside and leave the face material in tack as best I could. The speakers have sort of a taper to them. When inserted the vinyl material is folded inward. It blends in very well. The grill inserts barely stick out.

Once I achieved the whole diameter the speaker pushes thru and it looks great
