A very special thank you goes out to Joe Kalas of Barbera Dodge in Philadelphia. As you know Joe is the Crew Cheif for Mike Hartley. Joe agreed to Prep my 1995 Gen 1 Viper for an Enduro & 2 Sprint races that were held at Road Atlanta during the Thanksgiving Break. The Reptile Racing Viper had a very good showing for its first time at Road Atlanta. During practice hitting speeds of 130 (wtih plenty more to go) on the back stretch the double bubble top came loose creating a small problem. We decided to run the rest of the weekend ******* & wingless.

The 1 hour enduro was shortend to 45 minutes. At the start of the race (standing Start) the Reptile Viper took the early lead only to give the lead up to the SARCC National T-1 Champion (Corvette).

The second race held on Sunday included 2/12 lap sprint races. The first found the Reptile Viper taking first in class & overall winner of the sprint. The 3rd race of the weekend had the Reptile Viper taking 1st in class and 2nd overall.

Glad you had Joe do the setup, definitely is the man for knowing how to get a suspension working right, and I am sure glad he is my crew chief.....Might have to see where my commission check is from him...LOL

Sorry to hear about that roof problem.....do any damage?

Hey Frank.......Keep in touch, team mates Lenny and Warren are sending the nascar hauler with their two cars to Florida this weekend. I still have my hands full getting this new race shop and running and I will be ready I hope by Mid-January with my Viper modifications for the WCGT series and heading to Florida also to work on testing and some SCCa events. ...maybe you can team up with us.

I definitely agree, that Joe is a fine addition to my team efforts and we both are looking forward to our assault on the SPEED WCGT this year.....looks like VIR will be my first race, don't think I can make the season opener at Sebring in March, but we are trying to see if we will have everything ready.
