Road test says new viper has 155mph limiter

Road test in todays Atlanta journal says "Top speed 190 mph but limited to 155 for showroom models"

Say it aint so!!!!!!!!!

I don't know but I think 155 in a show room is pretty good.

It's true - the new SRT-10 is limited to 155 MPH in 4th gear.

It will go faster in 5th gear, however.

BTW, some German manufacturers do NOT limit the max. speed of the cars anymore.

sounds like a DC euro trash nasty setup, most are limited over here except a few but they can be overcome by all accounts. Haven't heard of any gen 2 users having to travel that slow.

Markus, any word of SRT's in Germany yet ?? Had a very reliable source saying 2 will make it in the UK before the year ends
