I think we should all take a look at the weather Saturday afternoon. If rain or thunderstorms are more than, say, a 50% probability, we can consider postponing the drive.

But you CT folk seem not to care too much about weather anyway.

I agree. But then I always made it a rule not to drive the Viper and cars like it I've owned in the past, in the rain.

My opinion only, I would rather postpone it to another day when it is sunny and lots of Vipers will turn out.

I know I'm relatively new, so I would look to the more "seasoned" members for direction.

As of now, they're calling for a 40% chance of rain around 3pm tomorrow:

The CT folks are not worried about the rain but I don't know if the NY crew will have problems on the way home. Y'all have a longer drive than us.

Since it seemed that none of our usual photographic professionals were available, I was only able to memorialize with a cell phone (sorry). Thanks for all the friendship and the revitalization of our Connecticut area! And of course....Captain Connecticut!

Got home and missed he rain. Thanks to Russ, without whose massive forearms I may never have been able to close my new softop!

Don't thank me...thank the members that are pushing for these events. Its just a matter of hearding cats in this state...which can be next to impossible at times but I enjoy beating cats . Having Jimmy (Bluequadcab) constantly reminding me of the tinyest details and endless event ideas makes it easy.

Scott...your new '08 is simply Badass. Congratulations! Thanks to everyone who came out today and it was nice to see new faces (no offense to the old faces). BTW, where was Black Mamba aka Keith aka Z06 hunter...the last message I received from Keith was at 2am...something about a black Z06 hunt. Tusc, QuickSilver, Al...we missed you guys. Does anyone have pics of the sweet '08 Red/White vert in attendance today?

Well, we didn't make it....sorry!

We ended up staying overnight with the family...number of rooms at the W Hotel. Today everyone decided to stay and have brunch, so by the time my wife and I passed Rosey's it was already 1:30 or so. I saw you had a pretty nice turnout, really wanted to be there this time...but had to get home and pay the babysitter.

Waiting to hear what the next one is...will do my best to get to it.
