Looks cool, but I don't have a rollbar - was looking to get one that mounted like people have for the GTS, between the seats on the black "flat" section just in front of the rear window...

I purchased an item called the "mini-saddle" that is a bag filled with a product that allows your camera to sit on the bag and film as you drive. I have used it in my GTS and it has worked well. Did not get much vibration and the camera can be place in almost any position. I know guys that have tied the bag down and used it in high-speed filming. I recall that the company(www.cinekinetic.com)is in Australia and it did take a while for the product to get to me. Might want to check it out.

Thanks, took a look at the site, neat, but seems kinda big to have where I'm thinking (would block rearview mirror and looking to the right rear...).

Thank god your not going to have your rear view mirror obstructed. I would hate to get stuck behind you at VIR putzing around the track waiting for point by. I just ordered on of those from I/O last week, then found it at www.truechoice.com in Ohio 5 bucks cheaper.

Basically the mount attaches to the passenger seat rail and an arm holds the camera between the seats and is very adjustable so you can maximize your field of view between the dash and rear view mirror. I use the camera mount in my GTS that ELITE1 sells. It will work in an RT/10 with no problems as it bolts to the seat rails. I've used it for over 2 mos and am very pleased with it. Two of my fellow Viper racers (who own RT/10's) have purchased the camera mount. Ted makes a solid product, you wont be dissapointed.

This was an introductory price but for anyone mentioning they heard about the mount through this site you bet, $50 + $12 for S&H
2. Does it affect having a passenger in the passenger seat while attached and running?
Not at all. It comes around from the back of the passenger side but sits in the middle as to not affect either passenger or driver. Depending on camera size you may have to lean forward to see the passenger.
3. Does a passenger in the passenger seat affect its operation?
Not at all.
4. How far back can the passenger seat be when the mount is attached?
Actually for best operation the passenger seat should be all the way back. The seat helps support the mount.

as well as the assembly and install instructions. Both operations are super simple. Requires no removal or drilling of anything. Uses existing mount holes on the seat rail and requires 2 bolts.

There is a rectangular base with some padding that will seat the camera. A screw comes from underneath to attach the camera and lock it tightly down so it can not swivel. Standard screw for cameras...
