negative ghost rider......I refresh the new post piece before I refresh this page.....your post wasnt there, refresh new post, and it's not there. refresh your page and boom. not buying that the only 'don't see them' threads are the ones that make the VCA look worse than miley cyrus twerkin.

Instead of clicking on New Posts......go to Forums and click on General Viper Discussion, Generation V Discussion, VCA Members Only and so on.

Actually vryalt is right. I just tried it. If I click on the actual link to the post and read it, it disappears from the " New Post" link. I tried it on a bunch of posts. If you click on the New Post link and then actually click on and open one of the posts and scroll through it and then go back to the New Post link that post that you just opened up is no longer there. I think as soon as a new post is made to that link then it will pop back up in the New Post link if that makes sense. I was thinking the same thing that they were moderating the posts not to show the bad ones but they aren't.

guys, I'm telling you, I'm not ********. I just refreshed the "new posts" since I got an email that said someone replied.....NOTHING. refresh the tab, and low and behold both of your posts have been here. either that, or I'm on some kind of secret probation.

I'm more interested in how the VCA Board of Directors used my funds the wrong way. Did i Really pay
to send these guys on trips just for doing what they volunteered for. To me this is Embezzlement. These
guys should be brought up on charges & prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Funny how when the VCA did
their tax returns they state that they are not chapters, or regions. This is Tax Fraud. Funny how when you have people
protecting you, it takes a long time for the cat coming out of the bag.

Now that the tax returns are online for everyone to see, you can bet uncle sam will come knocking soon enough!!

But it is not his computer. We know that because he told us so. It must be the effect of an NSA surveillance program or interference from aluminum foil.

I think because you clicked on it, it is now not a "new post" to you. It then disappears from that list for you. I don't think it is malicious.

I've been a member here for most of the last 10 years. I'm a member of about 5 car clubs. The level of condescension from officers and site moderators here is stunning. All the other clubs treat the members with respect, whether it's expensive cars or inexpensive.

5 car clubs ? do you have a life ??? married ?? children ?? friends ??? co-workers ?? OMG

"I'm a member of about 5 car clubs"...... if you said about 15, I would not notice. The " about " in your statement is very revealing..... possibly false exaggeration ???

I race historic race cars. Please, share the depth of your car involvement other than running your mouth without thinking.

Hey Dru! We haven't met yet but I know you recently joined our Region, being so there isn't much for you to compare with but when I joined a few years ago a lot has gone down hill and a lot of local Viper guys are not involved in the club anymore which is a shame. The money spent is not an issue at all but like BlackSnake states it's about value and the value is not in our region. 90% of our region does food events and 10% car related events, it should be the opposite and I have tried for the few years I've been here to get the ball rolling but since I'm not an official officer nothing can be set in stone. I am still a member of the BMWCCA because they have the 90% car related events and allow me to bring my Viper to their tech days to work on my car and even the techs there love to help me out! Even met the President of the Porsche CCA and he has offered to have me attend their track days as well, that's away to get new members. Last year my Viper was getting exhaust work done so I brought my Range Rover to the Crab Feast and was given Sh*t as well!!!! Puts a sour taste in your mouth. I've even taken time out of my busy day to do stuff for our region and went things went south because of disorganization from members and failed payments, I didn't receive the help that I would expect from someone in a leadership position (two of them, one of them National)....

Careful, I also read these posts and if you are going to call your club officers out you better be able to back it up. It is true that our club does mostly social/food events, but I have asked and pleaded with the members to suggest and organize driving and track events they would like to participate in. You have never come to me with a driving event suggestion. I also track my car and would love to do tack events, SO DO IT! Its your club too. I have a fully equipped shop with every tool imaginable and have hosted oil change days and I also help members work on their cars (exhaust etc...) where have you been? I was at the Crab Cruise (Remember me I am the guy that bought the chair for you that you were given as a gift) neither I nor the president John gave you any s**t about driving your Range Rover. Did other members bust your balls? Maybe, so what? Disorganization from other members is not something your club officers can be held responsible for. So, call me out right here for all the help you were not given.

I am so sorry to see and read all that is happening. Something I predicted. Been a VCA member for 19 years and are very sad today!

Gary, as you are a former National President in good standing, I would hope the current Officers, Board and Presidents would at least solicit your input and feedback along with other Past Officers, Board Members and Presidents in good standing as they tackle this difficult situation. The club was built on those early principles and that something special that made it in fact something special has been misplaced, ignored, forgotten or set aside. It has lost it's way in the process, needing a reboot. I would hope the club will take a long look at what was working in the past and make the changes along those lines while restoring trust and respect to what you and others had built. As good as it is to see that positive change will come from this, it is still sad it had to come to this.

Sun Diego: is it just me? I watch kratedisease since he or she joined in May. From all the posts I can't help; but think this is a teenager, not old enough to own any car and just likes to screw with people on forums. Have you ever seen him post about owning a car or photos of it?

I believe he has a 97 GTS with a Roe SC, tuned by Chuck Tator.

He/she/it is a troll. The rules are: Do not feed the troll. Don't waste time thinking about them. This one is the type that thinks it is witty and humorous. People in it's real world don't think it's funny, but it can fool itself online thinking it's funny. Over on the dark side site they pop up, and we insult them until they melt down and leave and/or are banned for family takes. This site has to be tamer as it is/was related to Chrysler. We actually had some intelligent teenagers come on the site, Craig201 and Weeztones, and they added lots, especially current slang. One is now an engineer in a race shop, and the other, I think, is in the auto industry.

Gotta back up Steve on this one. While I think the National organization is a broken political machine a la Tamanny hall, the local regions have been very cool.

Steve opened his house for us and invited everyone on numerous occasions. It's tough organizing driving days, but there was word about it. Suggest something, get involved and do it. They'll support it.

Bottom line is the regions aren't an issue. I may not agree with the geographic layout of some of the regions, (IE PA & West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are as far apart as DC and NYC), but the regions are what makes the VCA.

To clear this up, I will keep it short and simple, these events happened before you came into your "VP" position so they were not directed towards you at all, NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT YOU.... No that wasn't me at the Crab Cruise (wasn't there), so no I don't have a chair you "bought me" ..... and I will direct anything else towards you through PM or email, like you should have done being you are the VP of my region and should not be jumping to conclusions.

After finding out why my new Viper friends didn't belong here (they are banned members), I asked Rob about the national club and all he said was "Good members, crappy leadership", and "pay attention to what is not said". So after seeing all the drama this month (my 1st month here), and reading both here, and at the VA forum, I hope ya'll members can get this fixed (the Club). The VOI's sound like fun and would be something my girlfriend and I would attend.

Realize that there is a lot of work to organize one of these - but I thought that they paid $50-$100k to the "organizer" last time? I think that amount of money would motivate more than one or two people to apply for that job. Heck for $100k, throw my name in the hat!

I take it there won't be a VOI next year?
