Sad to report the passing of Charles Tator, Sr. (Chuck Tator's Dad)

After a lengthy battle with cancer, Senior passed away this past Sunday afternoon. I know all our thoughts are with Chuck and his family.

Clark Associates Funeral Home

Hours: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM -9:00 PM

Funeral: Wednesday 5/14/08 10:00 AM procession from the Funeral Home
11:00 AM Gravesite Service, South Salem Cemetery on Spring Street

There will be a gathering at the South Salem Fire Department immediately following the funeral.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the:
South Salem Volunteer Fire Department State Road, South Salem, NY 10590 South Salem Fire Department - Westchester County, New York or the
American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

TATOR, CHARLES W., SR. a life long resident of South Salem, NY. Born September 8, 1926 to the late George T. Sr. and Lillian Ida Tator.

Proprietor of Tator's Dodge, established in 1914 by his father.
Graduated from John J. High School and attended Brown University.
Lifetime member of the South Salem Fire Department where he served as Chief and Fire Commissioner.
Lifetime member of the N.R.A. and avid member of the Fish & Game Association.
Served in the Navy during World War II aboard PT Boats in the Pacific theater.

i can only hope there's deviled eggs in heaven for him..... :)

Thinking of you and your family at this tough time...
Met him a few times when i have stayed at Tators and at the BBQ ..Remember reading the paper with him with a cup of tea in the mornings..

Chuck you got my No if you need anything....And forget about the time difference.....

He will be Missed:usa:....

Chuck, I and the entire New England region send our deepest condolences. I am sure this is a difficult time for you and your family. I hope it helps to remember all the good times.

I am sorry as well to hear of your loss Chuck. I lost my Dad to cancer in 05. My condolences from Oregon.

C.T. While I am sorry for your loss, I am heartened that Sr. got to see YOU Save Tator Dodge before his passing. That fact alone should grant him more rest, after an appropriate Gun Salute in thanks for his service.

I am sure he was, and still is, Vary Proud of you Chuck!
