seat lowering advice

Question here..... When I installed my 6 point harness, roll bar I took out the existing seat belts. I disconnected the plug behind the driver seat which left the safety belt light on. I can live with that but, did it disable the air bags as well no sign telling me so. I whas thinking of a jumping the plug since it seems to just make a loop but, it didn't seem to kill the light. Anyone done this????

Can the 2" lowering kit be installed on the pass side of an '06 w/o relocating the amp? If not, where do most people put the amp?
