Hi Everyone,

I apologize in advance for posting here, but I honestly can't find a good spot to post this. I am know I am just being a ***** and overlooking something obvious, I will admit it in advance. Flame away if you must.

I am selling my TrunkTop on eBay, just figured I would give the VCA a heads up. Been reading this forums for a long time, and I have read discussions from time to time. I searched the forum up and down to find a used one before I had one ordered and manufactured. Anyway, check it out if you are interested.

I am not looking to gouge anyone, just want to recover a few bucks to put toward my next V10.... although... interesting trades, no matter how bizarre, always catch my eye hahaha.

I got it to pull up on ebay. Very nice! . I have the same top except I'm missing the right passenger top panel. Probably have to get Jeff to build the missing piece for me.

I bought my car a year ago with 4K miles on it. Car was like a museum piece except for the one missing top panel. Dealer could not or would not tell me where the missing piece was. I knew it had a piece missing before I bought the car though. Big mystery.

RESERVE HAS BEEN MET!!! $1999 is the current bid. I keep getting asked if it comes with the glass windows too, and even though it does say that in the ad, maybe it is not clear enough? I dunno, but the reserve is off and hopefully someone is going to get a good deal on this sucker.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the notes and side emails, etc. In hindsight, I should have just posted the item for sale here rather than put it on eBay, but I thought eBay would be the easiest.

Brand NEW 3-piece TrunkTop from Mach7 Motorsports. I bought this about 6 months ago, had it professionally primed and painted, put it on the car, then took it off the car and into the storage bags. I ended up selling the car to someone that planned on drag racing and had no interest in buying the roof. If you have to ask what this is, you are probably not a huge Viper enthusiast. You are bidding on the three-piece model, with glass windows, and the top storage bags. When I ordered this, I spared no expense. This is the latest version from Mach7. The air intake on the middle piece is just for show, but I am told people have converted it to a vent.

I paid:

$2650 for the top, unpainted
$990 for the special "Viper Black" paintjob using real OEM paint, and a special flex additive so no crackling will happen. I will admit I overpayed for paint but I brought it to the best place around Boston and they are not cheap.
$1150 for the real auto glass windows
$195 for the trunk storage bags

Add in the shipping and I am way over $5000 on these and like I said. they are brand new. Zero miles were driven with these on a vehicle.

Thank you for the offers via email and PM. At this point, since the reserve has been met on eBay, that is where this sucker is going to sell. in hindsight, I should have asked for offers in the forum first, but the auction will rule this trunktop. A few of you made private offers that are higher than what you could probably get it on eBay so go check it out and give it a shot.

I WON! So excited. I have been without a top for my viper for years ever since my soft top flew off and destroyed itself. Truly thank you for selling this, I am beyond excited to have it.

I would have bid more, but dspan, you never responded to my pm asking if this was a Gen 1 or Gen 2 roof. I'm assuming it's a Gen 1 with the windows, but Mach 7 says Gen 1 will not work with Gen 2 per my previous discussions with them. You mentioned this would work with both???
