JusSumFastGi, show me were you can get a 99 ACR for 45K and I will take 2!! You may need to find out more about the car. But, 50K would be more realistic for an ACR with 30,000+ miles. Yellowing side sills is from the heat of the cats, remove the cats with pipe or, high flow cats and, no yellowing.

The price would be reasonable (IMO) for a car that had a clean disposition, but I'm going to side with Tony here and say NO WAY was this car bought back for yellowing sidesills. There HAS to be more to it than that.

Get documentation of why it was bought back, who the previous owner was (and contact him or her!), what the current title and warranty status is, etc.

I doubt that DC would have bought back a Viper for yellowing sills. Car may have some other issues.

I think you need to find a new sales person.

The yellowing doesn't wipe off. There has been many post on side sills yellowing. The heat yellows the paint. My White 96 with 22k is yellowing very badly. This car is just street driven. It doesn't see any track action.I could imagine what one looks like ran on the track. Most other colors are not as affected (black, blue, red, green)I've been told the silver ones are somewhat affected. No help from the dealer due to no extended warranty and age of the car so I've been told. That's OK I'M in the process of correcting it right now. I'M putting a set of high flo cats from Sean Roe on and that will greatly reduce the heat. The added performance wont hurt either. My local body shop (good reputation) is going to paint mine for a few hundred bucks. So in all I should have about $600 in correcting what dodge didn't engineer very well.
