The only place I could find anything is at the Connor Ave Plant. PM me and I will give you the number of the person in charge of the Plant store. Hopefully they will have something new.

What color do you think the next winner of the Raffle Car is going to pick? I'll bet my post Raffle Car ticket that it will be a SSG ACR! I won't tell what color stripe I will pick, that will be a surprise. :lmao:

The rules of the raffle says the winner must order the car to 2009 configurations and options. I guess that eliminates any chance of a SSG ACR. That would have been a fantastic choice!

Yes you are right, but you can still get the SSG stripe or any you want.

As in the past, the prize is a brand new Dodge Viper — this time, a 2009 model. However, instead of taking what the VCA offers, it will be up to the winner to decide exactly what this car will look like. And with the selection of body styles (can anybody say ACR?), colors, interiors and wheels that are now available, you have well over 1000 possibilities. And we just added over 10,000 more: You can now choose ANY PPG color for the stripes! The winning car will also get photographed during the build process for the winner and include a Certificate of Authenticity from the VCA showing that it truly is a 1 of 1 car. It will even have custom badging showing the same.

With the combinations of options now available on the Viper and only 2009 tickets available, there’s no doubt that the raffle tickets for this car are going to go extremely fast. Be sure to get yours today. If you are a paid VCA member, please download the order form here:

http://www.viperclub.org/downloads/0...affleFlyer.pdf

Oh, and one very important note: You can choose any combination of options available as long as they are offered in that configuration by the factory for the 2009 Viper, but the stripe colors are entirely up to you! This is your chance to get the Viper of YOUR choice, so buy your tickets today!

As the owner of a black car all I can say is SSG rocks!

I work at a few different hospitals around town.

one of the owners of a great local restaurant (the watermark grille) owns a SSG.
At least 10 different people, mostly women that know I have a viper, have asked me about the beautiful green viper that is cruising around town. they tell me how gorgeous it is etc.

this color really pops. not the color for you if you are shy, but AWESOME in person.

now if only the 08 body style looked like my 2000.
That would look sick.... sicker....

Have a SSG too. NO pictures do this color justice. I haven't seen a photograph yet that captures the true color. Like many, I too have received many compliments regarding the color. One guy asked me if I knew the paint code for it so he could use it on his drag car. :2tu:

SSG, beautiful color today and it sure is striking but I am not so sure in 5 years if that color will look so in. Times change and novelty colors wear out and it may be one of those colors like Millenium yellow in a vette that in the future people might say what were they thinking.
Tough call but I say enjoy it and don't worry about what others will think. Its your baby and just have fun as they are beautiful.

I'm thinking more of the short-lived Gumby Green colored Vette back in... the early 90s was it? :D

But hey, buy what you like !

The old Mopars painted in high impact colors are quite desirable today including a couple shades of green, I don't think green will be disliked on a Viper anytime soon, especially being a one year only color. Imagine if they built Panther Pink Vipers.. a PP.. :omg:

Here's an old expensive green example..

I was about to say that about the "novelty colors wear out" comment. I doubt that will happen.

Anyway, I mirror everyone's cooments I see here. One thing I will point out, is this car makes others CRAZY. This doesn't happen in my other ones, but every time I drive the SSG someone tries to race me. Without fail. This was a bear when I was trying to break it in, but now, I just have to give a little gas and bye bye.

And on the raffle car, 2 reasons I bought no tickets, no SSG, and I never win anyway :)

I too get the "where did you have that painted"...I say..."at the factory." I have never heard someone say they did not like it in person (speak now or forever hold your piece - as in gun). I have had them say they like my wife's Copperhead more, but that's a chic car...:D...now.

I was under the impression that it was to be any body color, but I now see that it is any 09 body color. I will just stick with what I have. No tickets for me this time if I can't make it SSG.:(

Are you kidding me? SnakeSkin Green is the most stunning color you can get. Haven't met anyone who didnt LOVE it. I cant drive down the street without someone running me down to tell me how bitchin my Viper is, especially in the color SSG. If you want low key...drive a white Honda Accord.

I have had mine for 3 weeks now and I am so happy I went with SSG. I cannot tell you how many complements I have gotten on the color. I love how the color changes depending on the lighting. Around sunset it gets this crazy yellowish hue, stunning!! This is as long as you dont mind a LOT of attention... a LOT. People go crazy when they see it, everyone takes a look at it. Often people scream, yelling compliments, waving, thumbs up, taking pictures, taking video. I had one person hanging out of a car window on the highway to film me driving. It is absolutely crazy, must be like being a celebrity. Honestly, I could live without all that attention, but this car is just incredible.

I LOVE the snakesking green in coupe form w/either black or white stripes, but I've been wondering lately, is it a hard color to live with??? The color is so wild & cool, but that question keeps popping in the back of my mind? What about you folks that actually have the SSG, what do you think?

Of course the color still has that WOW factor to me, but then again, I don't see it every day. :D

Well,did you get a SSG???:eater:

Yes, I love my SSG too!!! The SSG is an eye opener for many. Just over the weekend, there were 3 people hanging out of their car taking pictures with their cell phones...and all were in the same car! Many ask "Is that a custom paint job?". I had one guy ask me for the paint code so he could paint his drag car SSG. :2tu: The color is far better than I imagined....really glad to have chosen SSG. Although, the car gets a little more attention than I'd like. You can't hide it anywhere. :)
