Just got back from about a 30 mile drive. Drove through some melty water, and a little salt, but the sun is out, and the temperature is in the low 40s! I feel much better now. Will have to clean up the car a bit, it's not too bad.

Did have an oddball cold start issue this morning, though. See my thread in the SRT forum.

For us Suburban Philly - Northern DE folk, this weekend is supposed to be pretty nice again. I'm planning on getting a new battery in the beast (I think that's what caused my oddball start on Sunday), then taking a nice littel cruise.

Steve, I'll be down at Sears in Concord Mall getting the battery, so I'm already down your way. Send me a PM.

Our local streets are just horrendous now filled with sand and salt.
If I could teleport to a main highway I'd take a ride but getting there is way too nasty.
Lotta melting going on the last few days tho.

This has been a bad winter, usually during the winter I still get to drive it every few weeks or so... but not this one. The car hasn't been out of the garage in a few months, but finally this past Saturday (after a little snow in the morning that melted by the afternoon), I started her up and let her run for a while. Then I drove her up and down my street and put her away... thought maybe that would help with my withdrawal, but it just made me want to take it for a real drive even more!

I went for a 20 minute ride local yesterday. Cold tires and no getting on it at all. Now I have a cleaning job ahead of me, Oh well, I was looking for something to do with the car this week anyway!

You oughta see my black car! Oh well, no shows for a couple months, and she has a nice coat of protective wax on her. Still gotta get her at least a little cleaned up though.
