Let me know how the 2nd gear burnout goes. I haven't taken mine to the track yet but would like some pointers.
Also, from my drag racing other cars experience. When you do the 2nd gear burn outs.... It's hard to explain but when you start to pull forward, don't go nuts and let the tires bite and break something. I also try to feather it so I don't sit there and bounce off the rev limiter.
Another thing we always did was pre-load the suspension. It's a little different on a FWD car, but on a RWD car if you had a staging brake you can easily preload the suspension. That helps tremendously with 60 foot times and eases up on parts breakage.
