um, I knew mustangs were ugly and cheap looking, but seeing one next to a VIPER really puts it in perspective. not trying to be mean, just not a 'stang fan. I wish I could get my buddy's out. I have a friend with a Camaro SS that has never seen a mountain road.

^ Hey Snampro, I don't think that I have met you. The only ******* that I have been to in the Viper is in Augusta GA. I used to have a 98 Red GTS but I always wanted a 97 Blue and white so I bought it when I had the chance.

The Cobra is not as bad as you might think. Its faster then the C6 and would give some Viper owner a run.

It was just fun to get the 3 of us out and take some pics.

LOL, Yeah we noticed that all of us matched our cars. It was not intentional but worked out for the pics. The other guys even had Ford and Corvette on their shirts.

Funny you should say that. On the way to the place we took the photos we pasted a group of construction workers. One of them stopped me and asked if he could take a picture. Of course I said sure thing! No one even said anything to the other guys. When we got the destination the Vette guys words to me were "I hate you".

On another site, they posted the pics and of course people said that they liked the pics, but the Viper is the only car that received any specific comments. Once again the Vette guy posted "I HATE YOU".

Its hard being so popular! LOL

I went to a car show one time and got destroyed in the "modern muscle" category by a 2000 Mustang GT and a 2000ish Mustang Mach 1. My car was a huge hit with the crowd, but the "Professional" Judge just loved him some crap boxes. Good thing they made 50,000+ of them every year.

I agree on the looks. I sold my 03 Cobra Vert last year to buy an 01 GTS. I love my Viper more than any car I've owned.

Be careful with 03/04 Cobra's they make sick power with very few mods. Mine made 604 to the tires and all I did was swap the stock blower for a Kenny Bell, exhaust and a custom tune. The car ran a 10:98 at 127. I was in the Atlanta SVT club and some of the cars are making 800hp to the tires and the motor's never been opened up.

16 year old boys in Honda's look, that's gotta count for something.

The first time the wife and I went for a cruise in the Viper we got our pic taken about 10 times. One guy almost ran into me on the interstate trying to take one with his cell phone.
The other night somebody took one while I was driving on I85 and the flash scared the He!! out of me. The wife hates it, I love it.
