Viper ACR lap time Validation RequiredI intend to remove it because there is no credible sources for this rumour, not even information about the specifications of the cars that were used. I am always inclined to leave these up for a few days unverified, because actual verification takes a while. However, I could find no further proof, and challenges remained unanswered. Contacts at the Ring told me that Coronel was there last week, and went home. They had nothing on that listed Viper record. I guess we remove it until proof becomes available. If you look at most of the things that the user who took the Viper time down has posted, he appears to be a Lexus fanboy. They are in denial. Big deal. I'm 24 and used wikipedia a lot throughout college... Of course you can't cite it directly, but it's a great place to find a slew of relevant legitimate sources.

Now it's gone again. They moved it to "non-street legal" due to having the track extension fitted. I don't remember seeing that in the manual.

The manual doesn't say the extension isn't street legal. Just a warning about damaging the extension when used on public roads.

CAUTION: The track extension should only be used during closed circuit track events. Thetrack extension can cause premature damage to your vehicle if used on public roads.

What's interesting is someone completely removed the LFA time. Also worth noting, the 2008's time is still listed in spite of having the "track extension" installed. Whoever the hater is that keeps moving/removing the Viper's time needs to remove that pesky GT2 RS time as well, no video proof of that run was ever posted.
