decided to change plugs this morning and all is going well, until... cannot get the plug out which is closest to firewall on drivers side. i was easily able to get it unscrewed but cannot get it out of the "tube" it sets in? I was using needle nose pliers for the other plugs to extract them but i cant get the pliers in due to space limitations. any suggestions? im sitting here in the garage with a nine cylinder viper

A *** of duct tape on the end of a coathanger will grip it enough to pull it up so you can grab it with needle nose pliers.

My spark plug socket has a rubber insert that grips the plug so when I finish unscrewing it, it just lifts right out.

I got it at Sears... it's a good investment (only a few bucks and you'll use it alot!)

Get a set of long needle nose pliers from Harbor Frieght or any other tool store(these are about 3-4 inches longer than the norm), that is what I used.
