It seems that there would be a possibility of a ton of glare between the dash and the front window glass.

i looked closely and i observed panel door (window's hook hole) and appears like hard cover drilled and not dip..

I think that consolle is soft to dip and lacque..too. Clear paint could crack if too soft.
