I'll definitly be there Sat., maybe Sunday. I'm leaving for Roanoke to visit my dad and family Fri. after work. I'll be sure to wear AUTHENTIC (i.e. VOI, VRL, VCA) Viper shirts to show I'm not a poser.
*I don't think those who are posers can get through the gates*

The race days are Saturday and Sunday, so everyone should be there then. Friday is a test day, and not everyone will go, but most people participate. In any case, it sounds like a great weekend! My son and I will be there all three days - so come by a say hello.

When are the VRL/Comp Coupes running? Will it be an actual VRL sanctioned race for points like the ones I read in Viper Mag? Thanks for the info.

Developed a "banging and popping" noise on Sunday in the front right area, trying to get Kellam to figure it out and deal with it if possible before this weekend, else I might just be up to spectate...

Sunday and Saturday. Most likely early afternoon. Check www.Viperdays.com or call Courtney for exact times. Yes, they are the VRL that is in Viper Quarterly.

Good luck in a Neon!! I doubt you'll even come close to a 2.12 and some change I did with a stock GTS with street tires two years ago. But good luck none the less!! Wish I could attend and bring the spoils of Victory back above the Mason Dixon line for the 3rd year in a row in Super Stock.

our BMW 325 ITS car got there last year, with 60 less horsepower & 200 lbs more. As we have had only one dry test day all year, we are using this as a development test(we hope its dry!) Last year the ST1 cars were doing 2:12 & the track was wet. If we go off the last 2 race results, this years Z 4's & Lexus are 2 seconds faster than last year, at the glen last month they were doing 2:12's we were 2:20's but were having a multitude of problems. We now have 40 more hp than at the glen. In the wet we are very good,, as we went from 31st to 9th in 5 laps. If they can only all be wet races!!!

ah the ol' "banging and popping noise" excuse....

hehe

Weather is always great at VIR. Party cloudy, 70's to high 80's chance of isolated showers 30% on Saturday and Sunday.

It's pretty bad sounding actually! I had some things checked out, etc., by Mike Kellam @ Morgan Dodge, and think it may be resolved, I'll see how the day goes...

Hoosier, the Mason Dixon line is the top border of MD, and the bottom border of PA. FYI, no flame.

Yo. Here is a Geography lesson. Route 15 travels thru the Pennsylvania/Maryland border. Which is on my way to/from VIR. Any questions as I'm still waiting for the South to do it again!!!

I wish you all the luck possible. As I'm always watching the race results from our fellow Viper brothers.

Ahh, I see you're saying you want the VIR title to belong to you (above the Mason-Dixon). Sorry, I thought you were saying that VIR was above the Mason-Dixon. I know my geography, thanks. Just in case you don't believe me, I won my middle schools geography bee.
But what do you mean by you're still waiting for the South to do it again?
