I was bored so here may be some useful info...what gear do you want. I am deciding between a N/A build with bolt-ons, A ROE with bolt-ons, or possily a TT down the road.
with stock gear ratios the speed in gears is as follows this is shifting a 5500 rpm's:
3:07
1st - 53mph
2nd - 78
3rd - 108
4th - 140
5th - 188
6th - 100mph = 2000rpm's

3:55
1st - 46mph
2nd - 68
3rd - 93
4th - 121 / at 6Krpm = 130
5th - 164
6th - 2k rpm = 87 & 1700rpm = 75 mph

3:73
1st - 43mph
2nd - 65
3rd - 89
4th - 115 / 125 @ 6k rpm's
5th - 156
6th - 2K = 83 mph / 1700 rpm = 71 mph

Seems to me a TT system stock 3:07 are a no brainer especially with the high RPM power. A ROE could go stock or 3:55 depending on tune and tires. If you wanted strict drag racing with slicks and minimal bolt ons 3:73 are awesome. I illustrated 4th gear at 6000rpm's just for trap speeds. With good slicks smooth tubes & K&N's you could probably run 11.5 in the quarter.

With a Paxton you probably could shift higher as well.

Seems to be the same arguement that went down when the mustang went from the 5.0 to the 4.6. with a five speed you wanted 3:55 or 3:73 in the 5.0, with the 4.6 modular V8 4:10's were awesome.

DON"T FEAR THE GEAR!

3:33 @ 5500 RPM

1st - 49
2nd - 73
3rd - 100
4th - 129
5th - 174
6th - 2k rpm = 95mph / 1500 = 70mph

:drive: Still a good gear for a Paxton for help out of the hole, shouldn't burn up to fast and can still hold forth til 140 mph @ 6000 rpm.
