SSG RT/10's

I am currently saving up funds to possibly repaint my 94 RT/10 in SSG and was wondering if anyone has seen this in person or has done it themselves? How does it look? Only looking for input on RT/10's. I have seen the one on the Mach 7 website and the car looks amazing. Thanks for the help

Also if you have done/seen this can you post pics thanks.

I've seen pics, but never 1 in person. It didn't seem to look as good on the RT bodystyle as it does on the SRT bodystyle. Ofcourse, thats just my opinion

I have seen 2 rt/10's done in this color,(not seen in person) One was sold on ebay a couple years ago and the other was the one you mentioned. Dont get me wrong I am a huge fan of this color, but It just looks a little out of place.

If you like it then do it, I personally think it looks great on RT/10's so long as it has black stripes and black rims to break up a very strong color and the ones I've seen with silver or chrome wheels just didn't look as nice...but again it's what you like.

agreed, in pics it didnt look right to me. but never saw one in person. and im not a big fan of SSG to begin with so it might not matter to me.

Certainly would be one of few. I don't care for it, but don't think it looks out-of-place, we're just too used to looking at the OEM colors!

Yeah that GTS looks good but there are lots of things that are GTS friendly and not R/T friendly. SSG may be one of those.

I agree that some colors don't mix well with the R/T that's why I was looking for more pictures than the Mach 7. I would hate to pull the trigger and end up not liking it.

Paint it the original black, and add SSG stripes. SSG as the base color looks like crap on a RT/10. Or don't do stripes, but put a SSG Sneaky Pete on each side like the mustard and ketchup cars have. Black powder coated wheels, with maybe a thin SSG line on the lip. Ask Andy (Flatout) on Sat(Dyno day) what he thinks about the wheels.

Are you referring to the flicker pics that VIPER BAZ UK posted? If so, that's an RT/10 with the Autoform trunk top. I had a red one just like it with that top. Love the top.

400 hp + 150 shot is not read as a 550 hp car lol
