Here's one I took at home night before last. Wasn't expecting the colors this time of year. I ran a couple blocks through the bush to get to Sandberg's Island to take the pic. There was brighter colors before I got there.

I got my $90 50mm f/1.8 lens today. $24 shipping and $15 for taxes (meaning 12% plus and extra 6% for "handling" tax). Tax means that they take your money, don't ask permission, don't do anything (like inspect the box) and then give you NOTHING! (enough rant).

Outside tonight I took a picture in the MOONLIGHT.

That was at just after the colors faded afrom sunset.

Is that a Gravel road?

I'd say you're close enough to sunset for most of us.

Pry, nice looking car and beautiful scenery...
Kcobean, the title is "Viper Sunset Pics"... I think your pictures qualify and your car looks terrific (even if it yellow)! :)

Ted, This picture is an award worthy picture....wow!

Thanks Ken, it sure is different looking. Right now (9:43pm) the horizon has a pink fringe behind the mountains and the light is going 'soft'

Looking out the door from my General Store in Anahim Lake I saw that the Suns was shrouded by red/pink clouds. I climbed ontop on my fuel storage tank and took a couple pics. It was 9pm and we were closing so we headed off down highway 20.

Here's the pic I took when I stopped on the side of the highway ...

Very very nice indeed, awesome composition, and nature certainly did her best in the lighting department!
