I haven't driven my car since November 30, 2012 due to spinning a couple rod bearings and cracking the crank. Two weeks previous to that, my car was down for 4.5 months due to spun rod bearings. Needless to say, it's been a rough first year of ownership...but all the waiting will hopefully commence in a couple of days!

Since my car has been down for so long, I've been bored and bought a mod or two...
  • Port and polished heads
  • Comp cam
  • All necessary supporting mods: Manley oversized valves, springs, retainers, etc.
  • BBK throttle body

  • Belanger headers

  • Custom exhaust (will be built when I get the car back)
  • Custom crankcase tank (will be built when I get the car back)
  • SCT Tuner (will be tuned by Todd at A&C Performance once the exhaust is fabbed)

  • Eurotech CF front lip

  • 19"/20" HRE 542R (matte black center/gloss black lip)

  • Snakeskin Green calipers with black lettering

  • Snakeskin Green fender emblems

  • Snakeskin Green rear bumper emblems

  • Snakeskin Green radio/shifter surround

  • Lloyd's Ultimats with SSG Viper logo/lettering and piping

  • Bluebatmobile overlays for taillight/reverse/side marker/3rd brake light
  • White LEDs for all gauges/dome/trunk/license plate
  • 6k headlights with matching fogs
  • MGW short throw shifter with MGW knob
You must be registered for see images attach

  • K&N intake and KW V2 were installed just before the first motor failure

This is what my car looked like before:

I can't wait to see how the car will look/feel/sound with all the mods installed...it's almost time to enjoy being a Viper owner!

Holly cow now that's a parts list. You have had a ruff go but it is going to be well worth the wait. It should and will look amazing. And sounds great as well.

Thanks, guys! The installer told me last Wednesday he'd have the car ready today/tomorrow if everything went well. Now he's telling me he will get to it when he can focus on it...Wednesday will be 2 weeks that he's had the motor in his possession. I wanted him to clarify that it will be finished sometime this week and now he won't give me a deadline. The waiting game continues... :(

WOW! I hope you get it asap. As long as when you get it, it's stay together and no more headaches. Good luck with it.

I FINALLY picked up the car Friday at lunch :) This weekend, I managed to swap out the gauge lighting for white LEDs, along with the dome/trunk/license plate lights. I also installed 6k HIDs with 30-LED fogs. I put the pained center console in and color matched Lloyd's Ultimats, along with the MGW short throw shifter and shift knob. I was able to install Blue Batmobile's rear side marker/reverse light tint, but failed miserably at the taillight and ripped it off. I'll have to buy another set and pay to have a tint shop install them.

Looks great, reminds me of my last viper that had that scheme
Can't go wrong with Snakeskin Green anything!
get a few more pics up when you can, looks fantastic!!!!!!!! Love the wheels.
Thanks! I will do my best, but don't want to post more pictures since the car is incomplete. I still need to install the SSG fender/rear bumper emblems, Euroteck lip, and tint the tails.
Looks mean as hell! Glad to see its back. Now it's time to enjoy it!
Thanks, Doug! I still haven't seen any pictures of our car with the new wheels...hint.
Who did the calipers? I want to change mine to red on my 2003.
A local shop painted them, along with my center console and fender emblems.

Congrats Ryan....I'm sure it's a blast!!
Thanks, Ryan. Even breaking in the motor and keeping it under 3k rpms, it sure as hell beats driving my Taurus!
Great looking Viper.
Thanks! A few more exterior things left, but managed to get one side done over the past 2 evenings.

Enjoy it. You deserve it after all the crap you have been through!

Let us know how the front splitter fits and attaches. I'm trying to decide whether I want to make my own or buy the Eurotech. Also will be good to see it on a car similar looking to mine.
