I would personally pass on this. Just because you can throw all the components together and have it run doesn't mean it will run smooth. You will end up with a Frankenstein and have endless headaches trying to debug it. In the end you will only gain what a typical Paxton or Roe system can make out of the box. And you may end up spending a lot more. Sure the "kit" looks attractive because the price is so low but you have to think about what it would take to make it run right. The tuning will be difficult as well because of the hodge podge of components being used.

If you are ambitious and a good problem solver than go for it. Otherwise I would just say it's not worth the effort.

I don't see what the issue is. There is nothing majical with a turbo kit, just some piping and a pair of turbos. I can see how oiling there may be an issue but not a problem that hasn't been solved.

You will need a fuel system with any turbo kit, that shouldn't be considered in the idea of this kit, a supercharger, or any other turbo kit. You will need fuel and fuel management for big power.

Slapping a name on a kit doesn't make the quality of the piping, IC, and welds any better. I don't see why having a "frankenstein" kit would be an issue.

Last I heard he was selling the kits (w/o turbos, BOVs, and wastegates) for $1000 shipped. Could throw another 3k at this and have a TT setup making more power than a roe for cheaper. May not have the heat issues like a Roe as you actually have an IC instead of blowing hot air.

It would also be cooler to say you have a TT car vs a supercharged.

What kind of turbos does that kit come with? Also, what kind of pump setup would be needed for the oil return to get it to drain properly? That kit looks like it is for a Gen 1 instead of a Gen 2 looking at the flanges on the header sections.

does a gen 1 manifold have a 2 bolt flange? I was wondering that also since the headers on my car are a vband

Gen 1 has the 2 bolt flange seen in the kit. All Gen 2s I know of have a V-Band clamp between the headers and remainder of the exhaust.

Why do you have one not installed? Supposedly you need to roll the fender or something to make them work. I remember seeing this on ebay a while ago.
