Hey guys,
Noticed today while I was coming home from a car show that upon acceleration it was giving me some hesitation.. WOT it was fine, and low acceleration it was fine also.. only felt it when I was giving it a little more than normal.

then.... it went away? car runs fine, idles fine, no CEL. car has 21k miles. I'm unsure if and when plugs/wires have ever been changed, visually (I know that means nothing) everything looks great.. tubes are soft, belt is good, no cracking what so ever.

Ideas on what to do if it happens again?

check tps sensor , use meter to check voltage , could have an open spot . closed should be under 1 volt and go up to just under 5 volts . gradual open the throttle body and watch the voltage increase , if your meter drops in voltage or goes blank it is bad . good luck

I would not put Bosch in my lawnmower. Standard NGK coppers would work better than Bosch. The NGK copper or iridium is the better choice.

Chuck Tator recommended that I replace plug wires when I purchased my car with 24,000 miles.

I know mine gets a little funny if it sits to long and the battery drains a little, Try an overnight charge on the battery. It has solved my problems before.

Can someone reccomend a set of wires? and a good place to order from?

I never know whether the site rules prohibit me from recommending anything unless I know that they are paying for advertisement here. I have bought the wires that one of our long time members sells. They are well thought of and look good also, if that's of interest to you. I couldn't tell you whether they perform signifivantly different from other "name brand" wires; but, with his set, you know that you will be getting the exact right length with boots that have the right angle.
