Sorry for the short fuse, but I am looking for a guy who owns one or several tire stores, I am pretty sure they are Wheel Works stores, but might be Big O.

This mystery guy is a Viper owner, or former owner, and many guys in this area get tires from him. He has them in stock, at great prices. I think the Wheel Works in question is on or near Dublin Blvd in Dublin (near the 680 & 580 junction). I am talking about the Michelin Pilot Sports!

If anyone can give me a name or store location, it would be greatly appreciated!

I am getting my rims fixed and want to use this time to replace my original tires on my 96 RT/10.

thanks in advance

I guess my real question is, are the original MXX3s that much better that I should search them out? Or just go with the newer Pilot Sports (notwithstanding the looks issue)

Hey Tomer,
Try Mr. Hawkins at 636-931-2390. He might have what you are looking for and good luck.

Mike

P.S. you might get an answering machine.

OK, TireRack sells the front (275/40/17) for $209 and the rear (335/35/17) for $327. Local guys can't touch that price, even with shipping included...

So, I just discovered that the Michelin SX MXX3 has not been made for at least a couple years, and the new Pilot Sport has a different tread design, better in wet conditions, etc...

Well, I only drive in dry weather, and I am concerned about the look of the tread...I liked the "uncomplicated" tread look of the SX MXX3s...Does anyone have a pic of the newer Michelin Pilot Sport, and, am I worrying about nothing here??
