I have Belanger Headers, Ultra High Flow Random Tech Cats, and the Corsa 3" Cat Back with 4" Tips.

The sound is a whole lot better than the sound bite at the Corsa site. It sounds like slightly muffled open headers on a monster big block. I have not attracted the police with any anti-noise, but only because I am extremely alert. When cruising at a constant RPM, the system is pretty quiet. Get on it, though, and it sounds the way a Viper should sound...

I heard the corsas and didn't like them at all, but I like loud meaty exhaust...just my taste...I do hear they are quality built!

We have had great luck with the Corsas ,especially when we put headers on Snakes. Headers inherently are louder, and we used to have alot of folks complain about the noise. With the Corsa catback the noise is raucous at WOT, but is very livable at highway speeds. Just a simple observation.

There are lots of exhaust options out there. Your individual preferences are the primary factors in making the right choice. The best way to gather information is to get together with some fellow Viper owners (a VCA event is great for that), talk to them, and ride with them and have them drive by. That's the only sure way to make an informed decision.

If you are at all concerned about the exhaust being too loud, then the Corsa may be the right option for you. I chose the Corsa because it sounds great at WOT, a good sound cruising around town, and even at idle, but at highway speeds in 5th and 6th gear it's pretty docile. (Actually less drone than stock.) It's not uncommon for me to take my GTS out for a drive on a nice day and spend 4-6 hours in the car; I didn't want to listen to an exhaust roar for that long a time. Don't expect any power increase, however, with the Corsa. Their claim of 18 HP is pure BS. (In general, most of the exhaust manufacturers' claims of HP increases are inflated.)

If, on the other hand, you're not at all concerned about the exhaust being too loud, and you want more power, get the Belanger headers and exhaust and remove the cats. I had a friend with that setup in a 97 GTS, and that car was LOUD! And he put some bullet mufflers in the exhaust. As I recall, before and after dynos showed a 28-HP increase.

Maybe the hot ticket would be Belanger headers, high-flow cats, and the Corsa cat-back. That might be the next step up from the Corsa.

I am very satisfied with my Corsa cat-back. The tips look great, and the fit and finish and ease of installation were excellent.

You will like the Corsa. It is a wonderful improvement.Exotic sounding like the car looks but quieter interior. Not loud enough?I added CDI headers and no cats.Still quiet inside at cruise.Loud outside.its a head turner on the gas.Not like a big block.like an exotic at lemans. Bruce

My seat-of-the-pants dyno tells me the Corsas gave me 100 HP!

Seriously, I love 'em. Its' a great rumble when you let off the gas, sounds WAY better than stock. Plus that Chinese-water-torture cockpit drone with the stock exhaust is gone. The tips have a bold, sculpted shape, that gives the pipes a quality look.

I only had the stock exhaust for a few thousand miles, but even then I was glad to get rid of it. Corsa sounds schweeeeet!

As Cartman says: "It makes you feel GUUUUUUUD!"

I had the belanger with 3" high flows on my last viper with the sidepipes and I think it was louder than any other viper I have heard including the ones with borlas. In CA your car must stay below 95 dba measured somthing like 20" from your exhaust tip with the car is in out of gear slowly revving from 2k to 5k. I was at 120dba. Sounded good though.
