Best motor pull before the VEC1 was 394hp/434tq...leaned it out (-16 high) and it made 412rwhp/458rwtq

Here is the motor and nitrous pull (40 nitrous/30 fuel) @ 1000psi

Scotty was a big help with the whole deal, really like the setup

hmmm....what about richening up the VEC1 to -10 or so and up the nitrous jets to 42...that would richen up NA and level the fuel more on the spray

It's nice to see that set up again, I made the same power with a 100 shot. With heads/cam I made 689 rwhp with that set-up. Good luck with it.

P.S both Salenoids were rebuilt not to long ago.

Scotty:

No flame intended, but, unless I missed something, there is a problem with the nitrous flow. This is a 200 shot, however, the hp falls off dramatically at 4400, any thoughts. There is another 40-50 hp to be had. I would think a/f going rich is more an issue with less nitrous, then more fuel.

Nice looking install.

Well, if you want to run more nitrous, you need to RICHEN up the A/F mixture, not lean it out.

ATTN:Nitrous GURU Jack and SteveOOO
This graph is as perfect a/f and power curve as you can ask for with Mr.Nitrous.

1st off:You would show more RW/TQ if your dyno guy hit the nitrous between 2700-3000(just bragging rights mostly).

2nd:This shot is basically a 150RW.On a heads/cam car it might be only a 100shot.A shot is, what it is and whatever you tune it.

3rd:Your HP curve is near perfect across to 5500.

4th:Your a/f is absolutly perfect for nitrous.Remember
you only made one nitrous run, every run after gets
a little richer as bottle presure and vol.drop.

5th:You can easily make more or less power from here.

6th:I'd bet your car is the only car ever with nitrous to
come out and have a perfect run with a/f and horesepower
exactly what you wanted,in ONE PULL.You probably hold the record
fastest, cleanest and most successfull install ever.

7TH:NOT GET OFF THE NET AND GET SOME TIRE KILLS!
BE SAFE BROTHAAA :headbang:

SteveO this same exact set up tuned up ran 10:42 twice back to back at our VCA track day a few years back!By "Butch the Snake"
The car was an 01 GTS bone stock motor with Balenger headers and exhaust!
Still amazing.

Since I stepped up from a little 75 shot...I'm only using 1 10 pounder...tucked in the side...

SteveO Buy a nitrous T valve from Jegs and mount at bottom or just under your drivers seat. Now you can save on 1/2 length of line usage during on/off cycles and be able to turn on when driving in case of attack! You need a 20lber.
