OK friends! My TOP SECRET PROJECT is now complete! I just got my Viper back from Hennessey Motorsports! My Viper is now a <FONT size="4">Venom 650R</FONT s> & soooo much more!! I went racing with Prashant last night & now it's OFFICIAL! <FONT size="4">I'M BACK!!</FONT s>
embarass.gif
I can't tell you how strong my Viper is! I've got to take my hat off to Team Hennessey for making a dream come true! When I'm in that car, it's almost therapeutic! I'm actually going to my garage again just to take a peek. The ENTIRE experience was 100% <u>PERFECT</u>!! John REALLY went out of his way for me! And I really appreciated that! He not only sold my last Viper for me, (<u>which is something that he really did not have to do</u>) but he produced the fastest Viper I've EVER owned!! The fastest car that I've ever owned! The entire transition was only @ 4 weeks! John even invited me to the shop <u>weekly</u> for meetings & updates on my Vipers progress! Insisting that I converse with his Team on ANY & ALL issues that I had! There was never a time that I couldn't get a hold of him or shop GM - Jason! My Viper's engine isn't even broken in yet & the DYNO results were ASTOUNDING! I'm more than confident that when the engine has some miles on it, even those #'s will climb! I've never had a NOS car before & all I can say is WOW!
laugh.gif
While racing on our "Pryvate Test Track in Mexico" last night - I had a permanent smile stuck on my face! Special thanks to Jason, Joe & Brad for putting up with me and my millions of questions & concerns! You 3 guys are the best in the business! <u>I have to also thank my very close friend & "negotiator" Prashant Patel! If it weren't for you buddy, I wouldn't be riding in a Venom 650R</u>! Here are some pics for everyone!

And all I can say is "There's No Replacement For Displacement"! Can you say....Venom 750R! I'll have the 1st 550 CID Package in Texas!! <u>With a MUCH bigger glass of juice</u>!! That's 3 months away!

Marv,

The carbon fiber Venom Aero Body will be in next week. The molds are just about done! I can't wait to have them put on!

Trey,
Car looks great. I'm sure it feels great to finally be sitting on all that power! See you on the 23rd for the next meeting.
You might not be the only Houston member with a secret project.

Trey-
Car looks great!
So, did you end up going with a rebuilt bottom end after all? (I noticed you made mention about 'after some more miles...'.)

Either way, enjoy!!! I'm sure your grin will become permanent.

That's tooo funny!

(I actually tried to play that game w/ our good friend the other night! He didn't wanna play! I had my phone in hand ready to call Bank of America, Chase, & Quick & Reilly!) I honestly think "everyone" in our group has money! We just all choose to spend it differently. Some of us have children (I have 3), some have them on the way, families, wives, investments, etc. I don't think there's anyone that has "THAT" much more than the next guy. Ya know? We all own our own businesses & do pretty well from what I've seen. You included! I know for a FACT I'll go dollar for dollar!
smile.gif
With the exception of that guy who got a multi million dollar settlement or something...can't remember his name.
smile.gif
I'll be little bank compared to that guy!
smile.gif
See ya soon!

Eddie:

I had a 2001 Sapphire Blue GTS but I had 15K dumped in the back for Tunes. I sold that one & got another 2001 Sapphire Blue! Kept the wheels too!
embarass.gif
If it aint broke.......

Wayne:

I am getting the Venom 750 but the cranks aren't in yet. I'm not one to just buy mods w/o tryin to get the FULL potential outta what I have 1st anyway, so it's working out good. Hopefully by the time the cranks get here, I'll have personally got the necessary seat time in at the track & laid down a good ET. I sure need it! I'm not the best driver but I do OK I guess.

Very sweet ride. Maybe one of these days a Viper will be faster than all that cool rice out there.

How much would this cost without the aero/body stuff?

hey king, I have been reading on other boards about a race u had with a mustang guy(he says he beat u, u said u beat him)?? and now you bet him to wash you car while u and friends eat dinner with you, if you win the drag race? and 500 bucks to him if he wins? Is that true? if so, good luck on the race!

Tim

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Tim,

That's tooo funny!! That's Prashant you're talking about...not me! He goes by Viper King on the LSI Board & I go by King GTS. A Mustang guy (forced331) claimed to have SPANKED Prashant last week! He made a Post titled, "Silver Viper Underestimates The Power Of The Mustang!!" Well they've been going at it all week long! I mean really going at it! Prashant told the guy he only passed him because he slowed down - the race was over. It was time to put up or shut up Saturday night! I went to back up Prashant. Prashant told the guy that if he wins (forced331) he'd give him $400! But if Prashant won, then he had to wash his Viper at a restaurant after the race in front of EVERYBODY w/ Prashant's detailer supervising!! There were over 40 cars that showed up for this race! It was PACKED! Prashant beat this guy BAAAD! They raced 3 times in a row & Prashant gave him land on one race. He still beat him really bad! We all went back to the restaurant & Prashant yelled, "FOODS ON ME FOR EVERYBODY!!" <u>He treated every racer there to whatever they wanted</u>! They changed the terms of the bet beforehand and raced for money instead of "the wash". <u>The guy turned out to be really cool</u>. He paid up & everything! Prashant used his winnings to treat not only him but all his friends that he bought to watch & everyone else that was there too! We had an awesome time!

BTW, I don't lose...

Trey,
Congratulations on your HMS VENOM 650R! I know you will remain extremely happy with what John and the guys at HMS have done and will continue to support. Your experience with John, Jason, Joe and Brad sounds as pleasant and professional as what I experienced. Have fun and keep it between the lines!

Trey,
Congrats, sounds like you will have some good fun with it. Was it always you intention to bring the car back a couple of times? I believe you said it would be going back for body work next week & then to be stroked when the crank arrives.

Thanks Marc, I can't tell you how much fun I've been having! I feel 10 years younger!
smile.gif

I found out about the Venom 750's after my car was already there. This is something new Team Hennessey will be doing. My plan was to get my car back & try to lay down a #, have it independently dyno'd, drive it for a while, and if everything was okay, get one of those babies! The cranks haven't come in yet, John just told me that this was something new he'd been working on & I've <u>ALWAYS</u> wanted a Stroker Motor!! Especially when I learned of the new SRT-10's Motor. The Body Parts are ready for production, I just wanted my car back baaaad. 4 weeks felt like 2 months! I hate down time! It feels like time is standing still when your waiting!

that's some serious HP! Nice touch too.

Man, when you said TOP SECRET PROJECT I was expecting like a twin turbo, or a something exotic... Not just a NO2 job on a motor..No flame intended. Very Anti ****** for me..

Gonna get that sucker in the 9's now?

Sorry about that Gerald. This is a HUGE deal for me because I've never had a NOS car before. I've never even driven in a NOS car before.
smile.gif
I've had Superchargers but that's it. This is also my very 1st Heads/Cam package on a Viper. I'm really impressed w/ the power. My car is capable of a 9 right now in this form. The question is, can I drive it to a 9? I'm definitely not gonna call SW or Albert or Steve U to do it for me. If it happens, I'll be driving it.
BURNOUT.gif
We'll see. I'm confident if I don't get it in the 9's now - I will be able to w/ the Stroker Motor.

It needs to be KING GTS "Big Daddy" Only because of the spankings you will be giving out. Looks and Looks great. Fun to spend the $$$ where you put your butt, in the seat. You best get some rims and tires before you melt the factory ones off the rims. Where will you be this Saturday other than on the street. Easy rider, Rohn
