Trunk Open Light Is On??

while driving i've noticed my "trunk is open" light turn on. pulled over and it was closed or locked.. any quick saves or something i could look at to do a quick fix? thnx

Check to see if the wire is pluged on the trunk latch?

tried all of the above. i even unplugged the two wires that attach and re attached them and still nothing. i even tried slamming the crap out of it and still nutting

bash the light out with a hammer,it worked for me

Mine was coming when I when I drove over rough pavement. Seems like there was too much play when the lid was closed. I adjusted the rubber bumpers. and no more light .

my light wasn't comimg on, but the chime was going off when i hit a bump or accelerated. just like Bat, i adjusted the rubber bumpers, and no more chime.
