VA/MD VCA Dyno Day At Heffner\'s New Shop (pics)

Here are a few pics from the get together at Heffner's Performance yesterday. The weather was great (pretty humid though) but it was a great turnout with lots of Vipers. It was really good to see everybody again!

Vipers!:

Nice pictures and the way they are presented on Jason's website. Nice to see the shop, too. Thanks. :)

Sal P.: Why yes I did! lol... Thanks, thats one good looking GTS. Those rims look sweet on the all black. By the way Sal, are you Italian? I have only known one person in my life with that name and that was my Grandfather and he was Italian.

Thanks for the pics, :D

Austin,

Thanks for the compliments. :)

Sorry, I'm not Italian. :) It's a nickname that I somehow picked up over the years. I'm actually Indian, or try to be most of the time! :D

Redsnake: Nice!

Sal, you should share what is going to be done to your car, I was impressed! Red Snake, very pretty car and very impressive plans for its future. Including Garys car and Sals and Redsnakes there were at least two more there in the process of being transformed into total beasts. You just cannot believe Jasons craftmanship until you see it! Someone else mentioned the Mustangs in another thread, I missed those, but for those that do not know, Jasons skills are not limited just to Vipers. he has received serious magazine recognition for work with Ford and other brands. For those of you who left a little early you missed a couple of things. First the two guys in their "850 rwhp" supras who rolled up allegedly wanting to dyno. They seemed to change their minds about that and any other matters after spying Garys car with all the intercooling stuff hanging out of it up up on the rack and then hearing about the other 5 cars similar too it sitting in the shop. Also the dirt track car from next door that was rolled over to dyno late in the day. Thanks Jason for an enjoyable day!

Lee: In due time, I will release the details of my setup. :) For now, Jason would prefer to keep it on the quiet side to make sure the project will fly to his satisfaction. ;)

Don't be too ******* my Supra buddies! (j/k) (Yes, I'm a previous Supra owner and a closet Supra lover!) Both the Supras are single turbo 750rwhp cars, but on 110 octane race gas. The Silver Supra went 9.96@145 about a month ago. My old Supra was identical to the Silver one, except with a slightly smaller turbo(705rwhp) and ran a best of 10.2@141mph, but also with 104 octane race gas. The Supras definitely can perform, but do require race gas unlike the Vipers! :D Believe me, they were shocked the Vipers were making 800+rwhp on pump gas! :D

Sal: I thought I remembered it was still under wraps that's why I left it up to you to say anything. The Supra guys were OK, I just enjoyed the "shock and awe" aspect as they realized they were in the company of more than one 800+rwp Vipers, as you mentioned.

Hey Lee, how'd you enjoy it? I'm feeling jealous as previously said. To see that many high HP Vipers and Heffner's new shop. Can't wait to visit MD again- not sure when that will be though. Maybe during fall and definitly Christmas. Did you dyno your car again? Did you let anyone take my seat in the black beauty ;) ? And I did previously ask about the Stangs, you mentioned they weren't there at the shop?

I would like to personally thanks everyone for coming out to the new shop. We were fortunate to have dry weather at least for most of the day. It was good to see all of the guys as well as meeting some that were new to the club. I hope to see you all soon. Thanks.
