Venture Shield or Clear Bra in SoCal?

My '08 Coupe arrives next week and I would like clear protection on the front, fenders, entire hood, mirrors, behind wheels, in front of rear wheels and on rocker panels.

Does anyone have any recommedations?

Both seem to have good reputations on here... i used clearmask a 3M product... my installer was actually a vca member.... you can go to clearmask.com and look at their precut kits... if u call them they can usually locate a local installer for you

They did mine a year or so ago, they sub it out to a local vendor. The window tint was done well, I'd rate the clear bra, fair. If you have a local guy with good references I'd go local.

If you're in the LA area try Dan Gill in N. Hollywood a mile or so north of the 101. Factory trained and does great work. He's done 3 cars for me over the past few years including my '05 SRT. 818-347-8665

Are you guys (and gals!) with '08s placing clear protection on th ENTIRE HOOD AND fenders, or just the first 1/3 or so that is covered by the standard kits?

stealth u made a great choice going with clearmask... i just got back into town and saw mine for the first time.. installer did a great job(better than my previous 3m job)...Just the first 1/3 is covered by standard kits...that is all u need .... the xl rocker kit covers the whole exposed side sill... scroll down on the link to see pics of the kits laid out...post #11

Texas Venom will be installing clearmask on two of my cars next weekend, incl. my new '08.

Like most, I've been masking only the front third of my hood at the track, and that has worked fine, so I think I'll elect this over clearmasking the entire hood.

Texas Venom did an excellent job installing clear mask on both of my cars yesterday. The Viper takes some time for the install, due to the multi-planed bumper, but the install looks perfect and it really blends into the GTS Blue paint, making it very difficult to see. It's installed in the places you would usually tape at the track, including the bumper, lower hood, side sills and mirrors. My other black car looks equally nice. Thanks Thom.
