I think you are looking at a red ACR with black stripes....giving the perception of a "red stripe" in the middle.

This is not my car in the video, but I have recently added a traqmate to my ACR.

The traqmate with chase cam is roughly $2k It was easy to hook up, but the software to make it work on my Mac with Windows loaded was not as easy. The software appears to be pretty simple as is downloading the video and data. I just got mine so I don't have enough experience to say how good it is yet, but seems to be awesome so far.

Here are some pics of the mounting I did:

From the sound of the car and the G-meter on the telemetry it looks as if you are kinda coasting into the corners way to much. If you try staying on the gas a little longer and start your braking deeper into the corner (I mean really stand on the brakes, they have ABS and can definitely take it) you will drop your laptimes considerably. Good luck and have fun!

I spoke to this driver....and he was still breaking this car in, there was also a young passenger in the car on a ride-in-drive...or so I hear.

That would be from the SRT Track Experience if I'm right. I remember seeing similar video of a 300C SRT going around a track.

FWIW, my PerformanceBox was $500. Along with TrackVision ($200) and a camera of any sort, you can generate videos just like these. The primary advantage of a PBox is that it is portable and easily sticks to windshields. It will also more easily measure acceleration (magazine-style testing, 0-100-0, etc), and has a 10 Hz GPS receiver (as opposed to the 4 or 5 Hz units used by many other loggers).

The disadvantage of the PBox is that it doesn't have accelerometers of any kind. It can't, because its not securely mounted in the car. In some ways GPS is better, because it doesn't pick up as much noise as accelerometers do. But it won't work at all under a bridge.

I've never experienced the sort of speedometer movement seen on these videos, though I don't know whats causing that.

I've made two TrackVisioned videos with my PBox and a VIO POV camera:
