Okay, two issues here.
While the zigzagging is pretty self explanitory, the film has been
"enhanced" to make it look like the cars are going way faster
they truly were. If you look at the scenery you can actually see
the wind speed up as the cars did. My bet is they weren't racing
at all, just tooling around. In fact, look at 0:31 - they clearly slow
way down when they approch those cars even though no one is
in their lane.
Second - if this is truly Hungary rules of the road aren't anything
close to what we see in the US. Passing on the shoulder in many
countries is just "one of those things" about the locale. I am often
amazed at what fresh immigrants consider reasonable driving
practice is when I drive in the city.
Looking at the vid its obvious the rear tire locked up on that patch
of sand. It breaks my heart to see another Gen1/2 wrecked and
I feel bad for the owner, espcially considering it could probably
wasn't easy getting a viper to wherever that was.
