I attended my first Viper Days event this past weekend. There isn't enough bandwidth on this site for me to rave about the fantastic time I had there!

Many thanks to Skip Thomas and crew, Michelin, the two Archer operations, VIR, and all the sponsors I'm omitting because I spent too much time having fun.

Class act all the way! Participate in these events, VCA members! They need you, and trust me, they do an incredible amount of good things for the Viper Nation.

I'm still on a serious horsepower high 18 hours after my last lap...

(Best lap was 2:34...bone stock car except for B&M shifter...hey...I'm a rookie...first road course, so gimme a break!)

Nothin' but smiles here!

Hey George, I was their. My dad and I stopped by on Saturday to check it out. It was a fun day. Talked to some Viper owners, Bob Woodhouse, and some Porsche guys. Some of those trailer setups were damm amazing! Those things took up half the conversation time between my dad and I. We stayed til the end of the VRL race (great race, some good competition). My dad stopwatched them (on his cell) at just under two minutes.

George, which Viper did you have there? I'm guessing you were in the green class considering you're a rookie.

I took my silver 99 GTS coupe to the event. I think I had the only silver GTS there.

Were you and your dad by any chance near the bridge sitting on the bleachers? I drove to the bridge with a friend in his Grand Cherokee to shoot some video at that site, and I talked to a man about Viper driving, racing, etc., who seemed to be a spectator there.

Congrats on your first ViperDays Event. You are hereby given notice that you have been spoiled as other tracks and event sponsors have a hard time keeping up with Skip and the gang!!

Glad you enjoyed. Hope to see you again at the best Viper track events!

Jon, thanks for finally letting me hear a B&B exhaust system. haha. Your car was very nice looking as well.

I pointed out a graphite Ram on the way Saturday, he said he didn't like it. But when he saw your ACR, he did, and he knew it was the same color.
