Has anyone ever used a Fresh Air System for there full face helmet? Bell and other helmet manufactures offer helmets with a forced air hookup. I found a web sight from one of the manufatures www.freshairsystems.com Any input would be helpfull. I am trying to get it together to attend Viper Days in March.

since viper days is windows down you get plenty of fresh air traveling at over 120 miles an hour down the front straight, so i dont think there is a need for such preventive measures.. the only time you have to be concerned is if your a passenger in JOE B's viper, since he is the president of the prestigious buttonwillow sand and gravel club.. riding with him is the equivelent of being in a sand storm in iraq, except the seats are comfier.. besides, its only a little sand, not anthrax.. :)

now take it easy on me joe, otherwise you might just have to find another official lug nut torquer this weekend!! :)

Lots of folks use the fresh air system that combines the "cool suit" t-shirt and the fresh air blower for your helmet - usually in the race cars as they tend to be hotter running (with no A/C) and more intense from a race standpoint. Probably not necessary for your first driving school event - they run about $1K, and then you have to make sure you have a helment with the side air port, etc. But, if you are buying a helmet, may want to get this option for future expandability.
