Lets see if I can figure out how to post pictures. When we pulled in Friday
the wife looked at me-eyes as big as saucers-and said "at home we have a bad
ass car but here we're nothing but poor step children"

Sorry you'll have to look at two pictures of my car-not as impressive as some but I love her.

Great photos...do you have a link to any others?

Anyone know the details of this car? Meanest viper I've ever seen. Never saw anything like it.

Fiorano,
I believe that is Tommy Archer's transam car. It is not a Viper. It has a V8 engine, and I don't think any part of it is from a Viper. It is very cool and the body is made to look like a Viper.

That was the Cinjo Racing Trans-Am Series Viper that Tommy Archer drove. The current owner is Michael Greenberg. One doesn't see many T/A Vipers. A rare sight to see.

Great pics. The white one and the General are my favorite. Your R/T is gorgeous also.

I agree! That is one bad asp VIPER. :2tu:  :headbang: That is what the Gen III SRT should have looked like. I like it better than the CC.
Wing King, how do you always manage to get in the pics? LOL!
Wild Bill, thanks for the great pics! :2tu:

This is a very cool looking car.. but, are we sure it's a viper? The quarter panel and triangle behind the pass window doesn't look like GTS lines... The rear deck? Isn't it a little flat?

Incredible looking! Love the wheel wells, but to have such deep dish rims makes me wonder if its not some other chassis?

Wild Bill dump those 96 wheels see below

Repeat after me: "Not all 5-spokes are '96 GTS rims."

Those are not '96 wheels. His car is a '98 with forged 5-spokes which are much stronger. The only ones which are suspect are on the '96 GTSs and a small handful of '97s. The '96 RTs had similar-appearing rims to the GTS, but the backs were all sand cast and did not have the machining operation on the backside which created the stress raiser near the hub.

And BTW - those pics are of the Motorsports Ranch event - not the Finals at TMS.
