Yeah,
I hear that from lots of guys. I don't know, I guess I could get away with it too, perhaps forever.

I just see how much attention the car attracts and I know how every cop seems to take a close look at me and the car.

I guess I'm just a little too cautious. I feel like not having the plate would just be asking for them to stop me.

Joe, agree with you on most things but this one we differ in that again this is personal choice. The basic truths you mention again are your basic (and Im sure many others but not all) truths.

One of the things I love is that whenever I get together with folks at a Viper event virtually every car is different. That means looks and engine. You can have 2 identical year cars, color, interior scheme etc and they can be completely different. For me it is a hobby and fun and I enjopy the personalization. In fact being a totally de badged car like Graphite GTS states is a form of his personalization. If you like it, go for it, whichever way it takes you. In the end, its all good if its a Viper ! :2tu:

PS I hate the plate in front but legally needed in NY, wont do it thought but it has cost me 2 fines so far, cost of doing business in a Viper.

I prefer keeping the front plates on since I don't like to give the cops any reason (other than racism) for stopping me.

i just put the decal across my windshield and it looks great. red gts with red viper gts on the banner. and its not to impress anybody, the car already does that, its to help me enjoy what i love doing. spending every last cent on my dodge.lol. keep your opinion on not licking the banner, thats your perogative, and i will keep the decal smilin proud.

I have a decal on both my Vipers. "Viper GTS" for the road car and "Viper GTS/R" for the Track car. Isn't this what was meant by ROAD & TRACK??

No Decals! No Badging! No advertising of ANY kind unless you pay me. Sponsorship is advertising.

I don't care to be any companies billboard. I dislike all forms of advertisment on products I have to pay for.
If that is the case, you better get the badging off your rear bumper........ or your avatar is just out of date. :D
