Hey guys, coming closer to sealing a deal on a viper for the trip :D

Ecstatic.

Only things to sort now really are having someone hold the car for me til I arrive, which I've been advised Tators will do (put in a quick query so just waiting to hear back), and transporting it there.. Been quoted about 570-650 bucks to transport the car about 1,500 kms, just wondering if that sounds reasonable?

And if anyone can advise on a company who can do the job that'd be great, always good to go with a company someone can personally recommend :)

Cheers guys,

the dream's getting closer!

Intercity Lines was awesome when I used them 2 years ago. They are located up in Warren MA and treat your vehicle like gold. In fact, it's Jay Leno's carrier of choice. You can't go wrong with them. if I remember correctly, Chuck Tator gave them a thumbs up to me as well. Let us know how it all falls into place for you!

Congratulations! There is not one day that goes by that I don't think about my future car. I know for each day that passes, is one day closer to my reality.

Cheers!

JPG Express (Glenn Boglish) is also a great option. You will dealing with the owner/driver. I have had him ship motorcycles for me and I am a picky SOB. He handles a lot of expensive cars.

My Viper just got picked up in Texas and is being delivered to Maryland by Plycar. They also specialize in exotics and own their own trucks. They were $300 cheaper than Intercity. Ask for Nick.

No offense intended, but $300.00 is only 1% of a $30,000.00 car. Cheaper is often a bad thing. There is usually a good reason why it is cheaper.

I just had Atlas Auto Shipping transport my new GTS. They got it from WA to WI in only 3 days for around $900.
