I'm in the market for a Viper, and whilst shopping around for car loans, I though I might ask here if there is someone who specializes in auto financing. Assuming the rates are competitive, might as well get it through a VCA member.

I work out of the country, so I like to finance things now and again to keep my credit in shape. Was going to finance $20K (+/- $5K) over 3 years on a 1999 RT/10. Already was approved by Capital One Auto Finance using their Blank Check program for $35K at 6.5%

If someone here can beat that, let me know. I also need the ability to buy from an individual as opposed to buying from a dealership, so please take that into account.

(will be doing this sometime between now and June - waiting for the right car to come along - but there is one for sale now that looks just about right, so I'm kinda anxious)

Thanks!

I did my financing with Virtual bank at 1 877 998 2265.
They gave me a better rate than 6.5% for a purchase from a private party and a even better rate when it was from a dealer. Keep me inform. You can email me for further infos.

I financed my 1994 through JJ Best Banc CO. out of Chatham Mass. They specialized in exotic and sports cars

I would keep trying. Two of the local credit unions around here are 5-7 yrs at 3.69%. Getting 20k for that long at that rate (assuming your credit is good) would not be hard.

You might get a better rate if you finance a little more. Call and ask them. They have to make money somewhere, so some banks give you a break if you finance a certain amount on a vehicle.
