Viper question

[96GTS]

I have a 96 GTS and the weatherstrip/window trim on the doors needs to be replaced. I read that the trim on 97 and newer Viper is 1 piece. Is this right? Could someone post a picture or give me a link to one? Thanks.

I believe this is a common and rather expensive problem that is prevalent on many 96's (not sure of 97's). If there is an inexpensive approach, I'd like to know.

96GTS.....JUST HAD MY DRIVER'S SIDE WEATHERSTRIPPING REPLACED DUE TO FAILURE BY THE WIZZARD HIMSELF. CAR ONLY HAS 2,600 MILES;CHUCK TOLD ME IT'S A COMMON PROBLEM WITH 96's. UNFORTUNATELY, WEATHERSTRIPPING IS ONE PIECE WITH PLASTIC DOOR-KNOB ASSEMBLY. HAVE TO REPLACE EVERYTHING. PART ALONE IS $384 + INSTALL. ALSO REPLACED STRIPPING ON TOP OF DOOR(WAS GETTING READY TO GO ALSO)...HOPE THIS HELPS.
