This is one of the large 3' x 9' banners hanging from the ceiling by the help desk that was given by the VCA for the party and auction Sunday night. It got misplaced and did not make the auction and is being auctioned on ebay with all the proceeds going to Special Olympics.

I've got the high bid now. It is for a good cause, and it will look great on my garage wall!

Anyone know what the other 4 banners went for at the auction?

John if I remember correctly they went from $200 to $500. All of the ones after the first banner were signed by Team PVO.

Current bid at $480.00 Mr Jason F. (Get Bit) has weathered the rains and has laid down the big bid, I think he wants it! I'm glad, hate to see a non Viper guy get it. Go get em' Jason!

Still a couple of hours to go though...
I went a little light on the memorabilia this year at VOI due to so many things sold out so I thought I would make up for it if I could. Hopefully, no one else will steal it away! Besides, I and mine survived the storm and today is my birthday so it would be a present to me and Special Olympics gets some cash!

I got a nasty e-mail from Mr. getbit through e-bay after my bid.
he sent it with the wrong e-mail address so my friendly response was returned to me as undeliverable. So, I used his address from this forum and got this response-- THE MISSING LETTERS WERE NOT MISSING FROM HIS MESSAGE TO ME.

"Hello PrXXk,
my old email is still registered on ebay or the Viper forum.
But apparantly, I'm not too hard to find.
If you feel good about fXXking me out of the banner, then don't be upset.
I just feel like sneaky aXXholes like you fXXk it up for everyone else when
you lurk bid on ebay.

Jason B. Fontenot"

NOW AIN'T THAT THE OLD VIPER SPIRIT?

It has come to my attention that the before mention auction winner is indeed a viper owner.

At least the banner rests in Viper hands.
Too bad for me

HEY - THE VIPER SPIRIT LIVES!!
LONG LIVE THE VIPER NATION!!!!

getbit says:
"Actually, I owe you an apology. Free world out there.
Congratulations on the banner.
I should have bid higher if I wanted it I guess.

Sorry, Jason, we wanted it too.
