While I was deciding on a turbo location for my gen 1, I thought about running a rear mount turbo setup but having external wastegates venting out the side sills and the turbine housing of the turbos exiting out the rear tail pipes. Would have been awesome when someone was beside you and you hit full boost!

It's hard to tell but it appears the side exhaust has nothing in them. Maybe the picture was taken in the middle of a change over from rear to side.

it is hsssss's car the car i do believe came with both styles for pipes. not sure which was on the car when he got it.He did have the other pipes in his garage i do believe for the side pipes.
