Never said it didn't...or can't you comprehend more than one post at a time?

Your intelligence takes are as lame as your ability to comprehend what Brutus has clearly explained. Lets keep this post at the top so others can see that Keith just might not operate at the level that his cheerleading squad has professed. :2tu:

You have no idea how much I appreciate your evaluation and the fact that you seem to have designated yourself Smack Oz on this thread. Hell...you have even resorted to smilies to accentuate your thoughts. Now THAT'S original.

I must admit Shelby that you have been a nice diversion on this thread...sorta like a Super Bowl commercial...but I gotta get back to my reason for posting a request for Brutus.

Brutus: I have done a lot of work with Keith and he has done a lot of work on various cars of mine. He currently has my total respect but I am always interested in hearing how he has performed for others(Not you Shelby...I have your story). Thanks. Clark

cstegall,

I really don't have anything else to say about the experience. I've pretty much told the story. I hired Keith to inspect, he gave it a green light... car was a disaster. There are many Columbus/Cinci Viper owners that frequent this site who are familiar with my story. If you'd ask me would I give Keith or Defratus any of my business or referals.... not a chance in hell. I took a really hard hit and learned an expensive lesson. I'm not trying to tell you not to continue to use Keith, I'm just telling you my story. If you have confidence in his ethics and ability... then by all mean continue to use him. I'm just passing on my story to those interested.

Thanks for your response Brutus...I appreciate your opinion. I realize that Keith has probably made some errors in his business dealings over the years and that there are just as many pros as cons that concern Keith and his work. I, as so aptly insinuated by Shelby, am not a Laxson cheerleader...what I am is someone that likes to know the full story when someone I work with is more or less outed in a public forum. Exchange of information via the internet can be a very helpful thing...but only when it is used with common sense. This thread seems to demonstrate that there are those that enjoy the work that Laxson does and those that do not. That is, and should be, the ONLY statement here. More than not, people post negative feelings on a public forum because of frustration and dissapointment....very rarely is it done with full disclosure or non-emotional presence. The story I have received from Keith does not exactly match with yours but, as usually happens with "stories", that is where it will be put to bed. Thanks again for your efforts here.

And Shelby...you are worse than a gnat at a donut picnic but I really do like your cars.

My only purpose in posting on this thread was to share my poor experiences with Keith's work. I wish more would do the same for any vendor who doesn't perform well. That's how we get to know who the best are. I do happen to know through mutual acquaintances that Clark is a good guy, so is Keith, I'm just not impressed with his Viper prowess.

Well said Shelby...but I am disappointed you didn't respond to my gnat statement  (smilie just for you).

This forum should help us all understand that problems happen in business and because negative situations happen does NOT mean that those involved should be Bates stamped and filed. Each and every owner should use the information on the forums, interview the various people involved with the repair and then make his/her own decision. Posting a bad experience on this forum is not a bad thing...making definitive statements about those involved is trickier.

And Shelby...thanks for the compliment but, and trust me on this, I am much more flaky than you can imagine!

ERDOC....

Thanks for your .02. Now put it back in your coin purse and move along. Nothing to see here.

Brutus's story is the one I am waiting on.

Since you seem to know the inside scoop, what is Keith's "version" of the story? I'd like to hear it as would others here who might consider using him in the future.
